Yellow card given to Jorge Matus for USB- Jorge had been awarded a free kick. As he was about to take it, Militia United ran up and started moving the ball back. When Jorge grabbed at the ball, the referee issued Jorge a yellow card. When I asked for an explanation after the game, I was told that the ref was "allowing the red team to move the ball back and when your player took the ball, I felt as though the red team might retaliate so I gave your guy a yellow". The other team, to my knowledge should not be messing with the ball at that point. There was also no prior instruction by the ref for Milita United to move the ball. Therefore, nothing being said is considered "allowing"?
Also, two other instances occured where Tequila! players were on a breakaway towards goal. The refs then blew the whistle to stop play for an injury over 20 yards + behind the play. There was no danger at all. A dropped ball was then played all the way back (both times) inside of the Tequila! 18-yrd box.
